Growth Mindset

Through this Growth Mindset workshop, teachers will develop a common understanding and language around promoting a growth mindset while practicing skillsets that enable them to support their staff and students in practicing a growth mindset.

Through this workshop, teachers will :

• Understand the difference between a fixed mindset and a growth mindset
• Clarify common misconceptions regarding cultivating a growth mindset
• Learn research-based ways to cultivate a growth mindset in the school/workplace, resulting in better problem-solving skills and greater innovation
• Handle challenging social and emotional challenges with a growth mindset

About Ms Claire Ong

Claire is The Positive Movement's co-founder, lead trainer and coach. She specializes in designing and delivering programs in Positive Psychology, Social-Emotional Learning (SEL), and Coaching.

Claire holds a Masters of Applied Positive Psychology (MAPP) from the University of Pennsylvania (UPenn), where she studied under the founding Professor of the field, Dr Martin Seligman, and other leading Professors including Angela Duckworth and Adam Grant.

She is an associate faculty at Singapore University of Social Sciences (SUSS) where she teaches Social-Emotional Learning and Positive Psychology in Coaching. Claire is a certified ontological coach with Newfield Network.

Claire has led training programs for both schools and corporates across Asia Pacific. Her previous clients include Hwa Chong Institution, Singhealth, National Healthcare Group and Novartis. She has also worked with the Family Justice Courts and Singapore Prison Service to embed Positive Psychology in public services.

S$250.00 per participant. If 2 or more participants from the same school/organization attend the same workshop, the discounted fee will be S$220.00 per participant for that particular workshop. Fees are subject to GST.

Registration is on a first-come-first-serve basis. No refunds will be made for cancellations or in the case of absentees. The Academy accepts replacements for registered participants who are unable to attend for whatever reasons.
