Maximising Learning and Impact

About the Webinar

Why leave student success up to chance? As the Visible Learning research states, there are a multitude of influences that make an impact on student achievement. But what accelerates learning most is focusing on the influences that maximise learning and impact. In this seminar, Professor John Hattie will share how to use the DIIE (diagnose and discover, intervention, implementation, and evaluation) impact model to ensure teachers are building a variety of instructional approaches to maximise the skill, will, and thrill of learning.

Attend this webinar to:

  • Hear about the most current research on what works best to accelerate student learning
  • Consider what "impact" means and how to measure it
  • Discover how well you cater for each aspect of the skill, will (dispositions) and thrill (motivation) of learning
  • Explore the four stages of the DIIE Impact model: Diagnosis and Discovery, Intervention, Implementation, and Evaluation for a learning environment
